How the selfie analysis works

  1. The tool finds your face and samples skin, hair and eye color.
  2. Undertone, depth and contrast are compared on three scales: warm or cool, light or deep, bright or soft.
  3. The scales point to one of 12 seasons, and you get the matching palette. Your photo never leaves your device.

Color analysis questions

What is color analysis?

Color analysis is a method of finding the colors that harmonise with your natural skin, hair and eye coloring. Most systems group people into seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, usually split into 12 sub-seasons.

How accurate is an online color analysis quiz?

A quiz gives a strong starting point, but lighting, dyed hair and tanning can skew answers. Answer based on your natural coloring and check the result by holding palette colors up to your face in daylight.

Can my season change?

Your natural coloring is stable, so your season usually stays the same. Tanning and hair dye change how you look temporarily, not your underlying season.

Do I have to wear only my palette colors?

No. The palette is a guide for the colors nearest your face. Colors outside it can still work in shoes, bags, trousers or patterns.
