Olive undertone skin
Olive undertone skin has a greenish or grey-gold cast over a warm base. It is neither clearly warm nor clearly cool, which is why it is often mistaken for other undertones or called neutral.

Signs of an olive undertone
- Skin tans easily and rarely turns red or pink.
- Skin can look slightly grey or sallow in some lighting.
- Both gold and silver can look good, but gold looks richer in sunlight.
- Veins can look green or a mix of green and blue.
Green veins and what they mean
Green veins usually point to a warm or olive undertone. If your veins look blue-green or a mix, you may have a neutral or olive undertone. Veins are only one clue, so combine them with jewelry and white-paper checks.
Neutral undertone
A neutral undertone has no strong lean either way. Many people with olive skin also describe themselves as neutral. If you can wear both gold and silver equally well, you are likely neutral or olive.
